Vancouver is known for its artisan community, the crowd that are avid and strong supporters of the fine arts. There will never be a shortage of productions in the City of Vancouver, which is one of the features that make Vancouver unique and a very desirable place to live. Along with performing arts, there are many fairs and markets that support local artists with helping them bring their arts and crafts before the public.

Kitsilano Winter Market

Every year, Kitsilano House holds a one-day indoor event that focuses on local crafts and food vendors. This year, the Kitsilano Winter Market will be returning on Saturday, November 30th from 10 am to 4 pm at Kits House on 2305 W 7th Avenue in Vancouver. Drop in for a visit and join in on the festivities, get some early Christmas shopping done, and get to know your neighbours! For just $2, (free for children 12 and under) you can attend workshops that are offered throughout the day where you can learn how to be more sustainable and eco-friendly conscious this Holiday Season! All proceeds go back to the Kits House programs to better serve the community.
